A goldsmith licence grants a company or individual permission to purchase gold.
Required documents
- A written request addressed to the Commissioner to be considered for a Goldsmith Licence, clearly indicating the location of the intended business.
- The Business premises must be inspected by a Mines Officer.
- Completed application form with signature of applicant (Click here)
- Copy of a form of Identification (National Identification Card or Passport)
- Copy of Taxpayer Identification Number Certificate (TIN)
- NIS compliance certificate
- GRA compliance certificate
- Police Clearance
- Proof of address for mailing and place of business (must be within the past 6-month)
